Why I started Vynix
Hi, I’m Jared.
In my early twenties, I was diagnosed with posterior vitreous detachment and began noticing eye floaters far more often—particularly against bright skies, white screens and harsh outdoor light.
I started looking for eyewear that could make those environments feel more comfortable, but most eyewear brands either ignored the problem or made claims I didn’t trust. That gap became Vynix.
Today, Vynix focuses on dark-tint polarised sunglasses and blue-light comfort eyewear selected for glare reduction, UV protection and everyday visual comfort.
Vynix remains a small independent brand, so every product, order and customer message genuinely matters. My goal is simple: to offer honest, comfortable eyewear for people who understand just how distracting bright environments can be.

Honest by design
What eyewear can—and can’t—do.
Vynix glasses do not remove, cure or treat eye floaters. No pair of sunglasses can.
What the right lenses can do is reduce harsh brightness and glare—the conditions in which floaters often feel most noticeable. Our floater collection uses darker tints, polarisation and UV protection to create a more comfortable viewing experience outdoors.
That distinction matters to us. We would rather give you a clear, realistic explanation than make a promise eyewear cannot keep.
New flashes, a sudden shower of floaters, a dark curtain or any rapid vision change can require urgent eye care. Eyewear is not a substitute for an examination by an optometrist or ophthalmologist.
